Seven hurt as rally car crashes Inquiry into rally track accident

Seven people have been injured, one seriously, after a rally car crashed off the course and into a group of spectators in County Armagh. An investigation has been launched into the cause of an accident at a County Armagh rally track in which seven people were hurt.
Three ambulance crews attended the accident which happened on Saturday at about 1642 BST at Lurgan Park rally. One man was seriously injured after a rally car veered off the course in heavy rain and into spectators at Lurgan Park.
A number of people are in hospital with chest and back injuries. A 12-year-old boy suffered a head injury. The accident happened at 1640 BST on Saturday afternoon.
It is understood the accident happened in heavy rain at the last stage of the race. Four people were treated in hospital. Some suffered chest and back injuries. A 12-year-old boy has a head injury.
