Man held over body found in flat

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a man whose body had lain undiscovered in a Glasgow flat for several weeks.

The remains of James Clark, 52, were found at the flat on Kirkton Avenue in the Knightswood area of the city on Sunday 15 July.

Strathclyde Police had appealed for information on his identity but have now named him.

The 23-year-old is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
