A serviceman held on suspicion of attempting to murder a female officer cadet at Sandhurst has been released on police bail without charge. An Army officer cadet's fall from a third-floor window at Sandhurst may have been an accident, Ministry of Defence (MoD) Police have said.
The 22-year-old woman, who was found on Thursday with serious head injuries, is in a "critical but stable condition". Amii Calway, 22, was in a "critical but stable" condition at Frimley Park Hospital recovering from head injuries.
She is believed to have fallen from a third floor window at the academy in Surrey and was taken to nearby Frimley Park Hospital. She was found covered in shattered glass outside an academy building in the early hours of Thursday.
The man, 25, held at Maidenhead Police station, was bailed until November. A 25-year-old serviceman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been released on bail without charge.

Earlier, an MoD spokesman said: "She [the officer cadet] was believed to have fallen from the third floor of the building." He was held overnight for questioning at Maidenhead Police Station.
He said she was taken to the Surrey hospital in the early hours of Thursday.
He added that later that afternoon "the Ministry of Defence Police arrested a 25-year-old male, a member of the Armed Forces, on suspicion of attempted murder".

An MoD Police spokesman said: "This is not a straightforward incident.
"There's been an accident and it's our duty to treat it with the utmost seriousness."
Earlier, an MoD spokesman said Miss Calway, from Dover, Kent, was taken to the Surrey hospital in the early hours of Thursday.
Miss Calway's mother, Julia Salter, and sister, Stacey Salter, have been by her bedside.
'Internal injuries'
In a statement, the family said: "We are pleased to say that Amii has responded extremely well to treatment for a number of internal injuries.
"She is now awake and talking.
"She will shortly be moved from intensive care onto lower dependency ward and we are hopeful that in time she will make a full recovery."
Miss Calway was due to attend the commissioning ceremony at Sandhurst on Friday.
Sandhurst Commandant, Major General Peter Pearson, ordered the academy's annual Sovereign parade to go ahead as planned.
