Chichester hospital sex charge health worker in court

A hospital healthcare assistant has appeared in court charged with a sex attack on a woman patient.

Sajin Kunjappu Panikkassery, 29, of Langton Road, Chichester, West Sussex, was remanded in custody by Worthing magistrates.

He is accused of four counts of sexual assault and one of rape of a patient, at St Richard's Hospital in Chichester last Thursday.

He is due to appear before Chichester Crown Court on 5 April.
