It's notoriously difficult to find somewhere to rent. Getting a place in the right area, for the right price and with enough space to be comfortable is a familiar headache. But one woman encountered a problem of a different variety when she went to look at a room in a shared house – the landlord. Laura Evelyn said that while the price was reasonable, the list of demands given to her after the viewing was the deal-breaker. The four-page list included such stipulations as "Don't leave dirty dishes in the sink otherwise a £15 charge will be added to rent" and "NO GUESTS WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT VIA TEXT AND VERBAL".
