Ministry of Defence Police confirmed that a man had been arrested over an incident at the military academy in Camberley, Surrey. The 22-year-old woman was found on Thursday morning with serious head injuries and was taken to Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said: "This is an ongoing police investigation and the MoD is unable to comment." The female cadet's condition is believed to be critical but not life-threatening.
An MoD spokesman said: "She is believed to have fallen from the third floor of the building. She was taken to Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey at just after 4am last night."
He added: "At 1.55pm, the Ministry of Defence Police arrested a 25-year-old male, a member of the Armed Forces, on suspicion of attempted murder.
The MoD Police and the Royal Military Police are carrying out a joint investigation into the incident.
