A man is recovering after being shot in the buttocks in Greater Manchester. Three men have been arrested after a 20-year-old man was shot in the buttocks in Greater Manchester.
Police were called to Westray Crescent in Weaste, Salford at 20:10 GMT on Tuesday after receiving reports of a man being shot. Police were called to Westray Crescent in Weaste, Salford at 20:10 GMT on Tuesday and found the injured man.
Officers found the injured man, who was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. A short time later, an 18-year-old and two 19-year-olds were stopped in a stolen Volkswagen Polo and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
An investigation has been launched and police would like to hear from anyone with information about the incident. Supt Wayne Miller, from Greater Manchester Police, said the man had been "deliberately targeted".
The man was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Mr Miller said that officers would be "robustly and meticulously investigating this incident in order to identify and bring to justice those responsible".
