Third man charged after teenager shot in Sheffield

A third man has been charged after a teenager was shot in Sheffield in the early hours of New Year's Day.

An 18-year-old remains in hospital in the city after being found in Halfway Gardens with a gunshot wound to his stomach.

The 24-year-old has been charged with possessing a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and is due to appear in court on Monday.

Two men have already appeared in court in relation to the incident.

Raymond Swindells, 29, and Stuart Hurst, 27, both face a number of charges including affray and possessing a firearm with the intent to cause fear of violence.
