Man held after Plean body find Three arrested over village death

A man has been arrested after the body of a 25-year-old man was found in a village near Stirling. Three men in their early 20s are expected to appear at court in Stirling on Monday in connection with the death of a man in Plean.
Police said the body was discovered in Bruce Street, Plean, in the early hours of the morning. Police received a number of calls from the public about a "disturbance" in the village, near Stirling, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Det Insp Dougie Telfer said police had received a number of calls from the public about a "disturbance" in the village. The body of the 25-year-old man was found in Bruce Street.
He said: "Officers responded quickly and found the body of the man." Det Insp Telfer appealed for witnesses. Det Insp Dougie Telfer said he would still like to hear from witnesses to the disturbance.
"In addition, anyone who witnessed any earlier incident in the Bruce Street area from Friday evening onwards is also asked to contact us," he said.
