Drowned man's father makes appeal | |

The father of a man whose body was found in the sea off the County Antrim coast has appealed for anyone who was with him to come forward. | |
Liam McKeegan, 20, from Cushendall was discovered drowned at Garron Road near Waterfoot on Sunday. | |
Police want to find out the whereabouts of a second man who they believe was with Mr McKeegan at about 0400 BST. | |
His father Patrick said it was important to make sure no one else died in what he called a "tragic accident". | |
He said his son, one of nine children, must have fallen out of the boat and his body was washed to shore. | |
"He met up with this other fellow and we don't really know who he is yet," he told the BBC. | |
"We have a photo of someone, we can't put a name to it. No one has come forward yet. | |
"It's very important to find out if there someone else out there knows anything more about it... there is a possibility that another person could be in the water somewhere." | |

Detectives said the other man was between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 9ins tall, of slim to medium build with bad skin and yellowish teeth. | |

They also want to speak to two men camping on the beach at Waterfoot overnight on Saturday. They were driving a dark car. | |
