Nine adults and six children have been rescued at a caravan park in Carmarthenshire following flooding. | |
Around 60 caravans were surrounded by water at Pendine Caravan Park at around 17:00 GMT on Sunday evening. | |

Craig Thomas, the station manager from Mid and West Wales, said the flood water was of varying depth from a few inches to a couple of feet. | |
"The caravan owners had been very pro-active and evacuated about 40 people to higher ground," he said. | |
"A couple of caravans had families which needed rescuing, and nine adults and six children were rescued from four or five caravans using our swift water rescue team and boat crews from Carmarthenshire fire station," he added. | |
