Tributes to Middleton man killed by horse in Edenfield | |

A vet was called to sedate the animal and enable Mr McGuire to receive treatment but he died at the scene, at about 17:30 GMT. | |
Mr McGuire's wife suffered a broken femur and injuries to the chest but she and her daughter, who was treated for shock, are understood to have been discharged from hospital. | |
Mr MrGuire's family said: "Peter was married to his wife Marie for 27 years and had a son and a daughter who he loved dearly. | |
"He was an active member of the Bolton and District Riding Club, with horse riding being a family hobby for the past eight years. | |
"Peter has been taken from us in such sudden and tragic circumstances and will be sadly missed by his family, friends and horse community." | |

Centre owner Ken Holden, said: "The horse is fine. It is no problem whatsoever. It will remain here indefinitely until the family get in touch." | |
