Fire damages Swansea art gallery

An art gallery and gift shop in Swansea city centre has been badly damaged by fire which was discovered in the early hours.

Fire crews called to the Celfi Gallery in Mansel Street at 0450 BST found it well alight.

Three appliances were sent to tackle the blaze, and the last firefighters left the scene some four hours later.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said they were carrying out an investigation into the cause.
