The teenager's parents Trevor and Hilary Foster have travelled to India three times to try to speed up the extradition. Delhi High Court quashed the latest in a series of appeals made by Maninder Pal Singh Kohli, 39, against his extradition on Friday.
The 39-year-old delivery driver was arrested in July 2004 after Hannah's parents, Trevor and Hilary, went to India to appeal for information.
Mr and Mrs Foster, from Southampton, travelled to India three times to try to speed up the long-drawn-out process which has involved more than 100 court appearances since 2004.
Mrs Foster said he landed at Heathrow Airport, London from Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi at 6.34pm today.

Mrs Foster said: "We have been so focused on getting this to happen. Now it's actually happening our thoughts turn to a UK trial. He was due to be taken to Alton police station in Hampshire for questioning.
"This is the first extradition that has ever taken place between India and the UK." He is expected to appear before Southampton Magistrates Court for a preliminary hearing at the earliest opportunity.
A Hampshire police spokeswoman said: "Hampshire officers have travelled to India to facilitate his return to the UK. Mrs Foster said: "We have been so focused on getting this to happen. Now it's actually happening our thoughts turn to a UK trial." She added: "This is the first extradition that has ever taken place between India and the UK.
"We are not in a position to disclose details of his return at this stage. "At times we thought it would never happen."
"Once he is back in the UK he will be taken in to custody at a Hampshire police station where he will be charged in due course."
