The body of a man missing after his canoe overturned on a Highland loch has been discovered.

Ian Law, from Rochester in Kent, had been on the craft on Loch Mhor at Errogie when the incident happened on Tuesday afternoon.

Mr Law. 55, had been fishing with his brother Eric who was able to swim to land and raise the alarm.

Divers from Grampian Police Underwater Search Unit found the body at 1940 BST on Thursday, 70 metres from shore.

Scottish and Southern Energy, which had been requested to control water levels to help with the search, said normal operations have now resumed.
