You know an internet phenomenon is almost over when Boris Johnson mentions Gangnam Style in his Tory conference speech. West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle couldn't help getting in on the action during the Windies' Twenty20 campaign, and on Sunday the whole team were at it as they celebrated their victory over Sri Lanka. This week, India's Star Cricket somehow managed to persuade ex-England captain Kevin Pietersen to do a take on a Gangnam-style dance – but the results are more reminiscent of David Brent than Psy, and presenters Sourav Ganguly and Wasim Akram don't look that impressed.

Many fans of Olympic medal winners Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish must have dreamed of owning one of their bikes, which are made of carbon fibre and cost in the region of £10,000. But they wouldn't want to do what mountain bike trials rider Martyn Ashton done to one of those bikes (a Pinarello Dogma 2): some truly sensational Danny MacAskill-style stunts on roadside obstacles. The Tour de France was never like this.
