Holiday teen dies after 'attack' | |

A teenager has died after an attack at a nightclub on the first day of a holiday on the Greek island of Zante. | |
A friend of Jon Hiles, 18, from Cardiff, told how he had been punched in the face and fell from a stage. | |
The keen roller-hockey and ice hockey player suffered head injuries and died in hospital in Athens two days later, on the eve of his 19th birthday. | |
A police spokesman in Greece said it was "something serious" and they were looking for who was responsible. | |
Mr Hiles' parents Denzil and Peryn, his girlfriend Clare Ursell and close friend, Josh Ursell, were at his bedside when he died on Sunday. | |
Friends who were with Mr Hiles on the holiday have stayed on the island to help with the police investigation. | |

Jason Mordecai, 19, from Whitchurch, Cardiff said they had been dancing on stage when the assault happened at a club in Laganas. | |
"As we were there, this guy with an English accent walked onto the stage and started urinating" he said. | |
"He started urinating on Jon and he [Jon] asked this guy if he was all right and as he did, this guy punched him in the face and he fell 6ft onto the floor from the stage." | |
Mr Mordecai said the man had "just left and run off". | |
Mr Hiles, who was unconscious had been taken to hospital. | |

He said: "We have the death of a British person and we are looking for who did this." | |
A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "Next of kin have been informed and are receiving consular assistance." | |
Mr Hiles, from Llandaff North in Cardiff, had represented the Great Britain roller hockey team and had also played ice hockey for the Cardiff Devil's junior team. | |
