Bac Phuong Nguyen was remanded in custody following the hearing at Newport Magistrates Court.

The man who was arrested in London is also charged with conspiracy to cultivate cannabis. Bac Nguyen is the seventh man to be charged in connection with the murder along with a woman.
He is expected to appear before Newport Magistrates Court. Six men and one woman have already been charged in connection with the murder.
Earlier this month, the case was featured on the BBC Crimewatch programme, with police issuing a fresh appeal.
