Two glider pilots escaped serious injury in a mid-air crash over Suffolk, paramedics said. A pilot parachuted to safety after a mid-air collision between two gliders over Suffolk.
The East of England Ambulance Service said both pilots were found in Newmarket, near the town's racecourse. One pilot sustained head injuries and the other was unhurt in the crash above Newmarket, near the town's racecourse.
