A teenage girl was seriously injured when she was shot in the back with an airgun. A 15-year-old girl suffered a collapsed lung when she was shot in the back with an airgun.

"The suspect in this case was quickly arrested and we are conducting a full and thorough investigation.
"I can assure local people that we are taking this very seriously."
The boy has been bailed pending further inquiries over the shooting, but remains in police custody in relation to other, unrelated, matters, the force said.
