A 45-year-old taxi driver has been charged with murdering his wife after she was found seriously injured at a roundabout in Cwmbran, Torfaen. | |
Pedestrian Fiona May Erickson, 47, from Thornhill, Cwmbran, was involved in a collision with a white Ford Mondeo at about 0100 BST on Saturday. | |
Her husband Andrew Erickson has been remanded in custody by Newport magistrates charged with her murder. | |
The case was adjourned until 19 July at the city's crown court. | |
Mrs Erickson was found in the road on the Hollybush roundabout in Cwmbran in the early hours of Saturday. | |
Police have renewed their appeal for information from anyone near the Coed Eva/Hollybush junction between 0030 BST and 0115 BST. | |
