Two shot and man stabbed in fight

The incident early on Saturday, outside the Workers Rest pub in Upper Lichfield Street, Willenhall, may have involved two rival groups, police believe. A 24-year-old man from Wolverhampton who was shot in the neck is in a serious condition in hospital. A 27-year-old man who was shot and a 19-year-old stabbing victim are described as stable. CCTV footage The older man was shot in the leg and stomach and the other victim was stabbed in the leg, head and buttocks. Police were called at about 0200 BST on Saturday. Scenes of crimes officers have been examining roads around the incident. Four streets remained closed off on Saturday afternoon. Police are also looking at CCTV footage. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. |
