Pipe bomb is removed from garage

A pipe bomb has been found in a garage at a house in County Tyrone.

It was discovered during a police search of the property on the Hospital Road in Omagh, which started at about 1825 BST on Friday.

The device, which detectives described as viable, has been taken away for examination.

A number of other items were also removed from the garage. No arrests were made, but police have said their inquiries are ongoing.
