The M1 is closed northbound between junctions 19 and 21. Motorists are being diverted along the M6 and M69. The A426 is also heavily congested. Another man had to be freed from the wreckage. He was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary where his condition was stable on Thursday morning.
