Version 0 of 1.

A Pakistani man wanted on charges of ordering illegal nuclear equipment has been extradited from Britain to Germany, London's police have said.

Iqtidar Mahmood Dara, 44, was deported from Heathrow Airport.

He was arrested on a European arrest warrant on behalf of Germany when he entered Britain on 4 April this year.

Police allege Mr Dara ordered supplies from a chemist in Germany between 2002 and 2003 for use in the development of nuclear weapons in Pakistan.

Mr Dara is claimed to have ordered a liquid waste monitor, two detection systems and an alpha-gamma spectrometry system.

His extradition was ordered by Bow Street Magistrates' Court on 8 May.

It took place after he lost subsequent appeals.
