Five flee suspected arson attack Family escape from burning house

Five people have escaped injury after a suspicious fire at a house in County Armagh. A Craigavon woman has described how her family fled from their burning home after an arson attack.
Police said petrol was poured through the letterbox of the house at Clonmeen in Craigavon and set alight. Jacqueline Rae and her three children were asleep in their house in Conmeen when petrol was poured through the letterbox and set alight.
The people who were in the house escaped through an upstairs window. The incident was reported to police at about 0415 BST. The family, who have lived in the house for four years, escaped through an upstairs bedroom.
A number of petrol bombs were found nearby. The police are appealing for information. Ms Rae said she would not be driven out of her home but that she had no idea why they were targeted.
She is taking her children to her parents house while repairs are carried out but she said the move was temporary.
Police said a number of petrol bombs were found near the house after the attack.
The incident was reported to police at about 0415 BST.
