Attempts continuing to evict one remaining gas pipeline protesters from a group who have chained themselves to trees near Brecon, Powys. The last demonstrator has been removed from woodland near Brecon, Powys, where protesters chained themselves to trees to try to stop a gas pipeline.
The pipeline is running across south Wales and the protesters want to stop it crossing a historic woodland. Six were arrested when the operation began on Tuesday, and the last three have now been taken away.
On Tuesday bailiffs and police arrested six in a nine-hour operation. Another two were brought down on Wednesday, leaving one still there. Dozens of people who wanted to stop the pipe crossing a historic woodland had set up a camp at Penpont, with some there for several months.
