'Post mortems'
Police and an ambulance attended the house at about 1520 BST after receiving information from the public.
Det Supt Alan Smith said: "As a result of information received police officers attended the house where a male and female were found to be deceased.
"Enquiries are at an early stage but I can confirm the deaths are being treated as suspicious. It is too early at this stage to say whether anyone else is being sought in connection with the incident."
He added: "A full forensic examination has been initiated at the scene and post mortems will be carried out."
Det Supt Smith appealed for anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area who has information which could assist the enquiry to contact Grampian Police on 0845 600 5700 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
