Ronald Ramsay, 39, was allegedly found with 100 milligrams of the drug in his pocket outside a supermarket on the resort island of Bali in February. Ronald Ramsay, 39, spat and cursed at journalists before prosecutors outlined the case alleging that he was found with 100mg of the drug in his pocket.
The offence carries a maximum penalty of 10 years, officials have confirmed. Mr Ramsay, who faces a maximum penalty of 10 years' imprisonment, told officials he used heroin to combat an illness, the court was told.
