"Francisca is calm, awake, and talking," said Dr Arnold Hoppe, director of the hospital's neurology department.
"She is not in pain, she doesn't even have headaches at the moment, which was something she had in the days leading up to her illness, and she has had no further convulsions."
The symptoms surfaced after she had played football but Dr Hoppe said this was not connected to her condition "which is very rare, affecting just around five people in a million."
Tests are still being carried out to try to determine the cause of the thrombosis.
President Bachelet cleared her schedule for Monday to be at the hospital.
The president also has a son and another daughter.
