Man appears on Glasgow street sex attack charges

A 21-year-old man has appeared in court accused of raping one woman and attempting to rape another in a Glasgow street last week.

Scott Kerr, from East Kilbride, made a brief appearance in private at the city's sheriff court.

He was charged with the offences which are alleged to have taken place in James Watt Street, close to Broomielaw, in the early hours of Wednesday.

Mr Kerr made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
