A man was fatally stabbed at a property in West Sussex on Christmas Day, police have said. A murder inquiry has begun and 12 people have been arrested after a man was fatally stabbed in West Sussex.

Formal identification of his body is still to take place, the force spokeswoman said.
Beach Road was initially closed after the incident while forensic officers carried out an investigation but has since re-opened.
Det Ch Insp Steve Hays, of Surrey and Sussex major crime team, said: "A full investigation is under way into the circumstances surrounding the victim's death.
"I would like to thank the local community in Littlehampton for their understanding and support while we investigate this tragic incident."
