He was arrested on Sunday in connection with an alleged rape which is said to have taken place over the weekend. He was arrested on Monday evening in connection with an alleged incident that took place in the early hours of Sunday morning in Loughor, Swansea.

Detective chief inspector Peter Azzopardi, head of Swansea CID, said: "He appeared at Swansea Magistrates' Court earlier today and has been released on police bail pending further inquiries."
