A 44-year-old man has been murdered close to a garden centre in Cumbernauld, police said.A 44-year-old man has been murdered close to a garden centre in Cumbernauld, police said.
The man was thought to have been attacked near the Dobbies Garden Centre on Eastfield Road. Andrew Best, 44, from Stirling, was found seriously injured in an access road to Dobbies Garden Centre off Eastfield Road.
Police sealed off the area close to the A80 after the attack, which took place at about 2010 BST on Monday. He was taken to Monklands Hospital where he died following the attack at about 2010 BST on Monday.
