Double blow for pool death family
http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/1/hi/northern_ireland/6657629.stm Version 0 of 1. A Fermanagh family are facing a double tragedy after two children died in separate accidents in less than a year. Orla Bogue, 18, was injured in a car accident at Clabby Road, Tempo, on Sunday 6 May. She died on Tuesday at Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital. Her eight-year-old brother, Paul, died at the same hospital last July after an incident at Portora swimming pool. He was taken from the water at the Enniskillen pool and resuscitated, but later died. Orla was a passenger in the car. Parish priest Father John Halton said the tragedy has affected the whole village of Tempo. "It's very tragic and the parishioners are shocked and speechless I suppose," he said. "Around the village today they're just standing in little groups talking and crying more tears - we didn't think it would come to this." |
