A 24-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a pregnant teenager was stabbed to death in Greater Manchester. The husband of a pregnant teenager who was stabbed to death in her own home has been arrested by detectives in Greater Manchester.
Sana Ali, 17, was found in an upstairs bedroom of the house in Throstle Grove, Bury, where she had been living with her husband's family. The 24-year-old husband of Sana Ali and a 16-year-old youth were arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police described the attack on Mrs Ali, whose body was found on Friday afternoon, as "very, very violent". Mrs Ali, 17, and her unborn child both died following the attack in Throstle Grove, Bury on Friday.
The teenager lived with her 24-year-old husband, his brother and their parents. She was discovered by her sister-in-law in an upstairs bedroom of the house in Throstle Grove.
She was originally from Pakistan and moved to the UK five years ago to live with her husband and his family.
She was believed to be two months pregnant when she died.
