Phillip Tottle, 40, who lives in Carmarthenshire, was staying with his parents in Pontypool when he disappeared on Thursday. His brother Graeme Tottle said the family was "desperate" to find Mr Tottle, who had been off work and has depression. Police dogs and mountain rescue teams have been taking part in the search. Graeme Tottle said friends of his brother's, including Welsh ambulance service staff, were among the many people who had joined in the extensive search so far. Teams have been combing Pontypool mountain, where Phillip Tottle enjoyed walking his dog Hukkie before moving to Carmarthenshire a few weeks ago, he said. They had also searched the local park where the brothers used to play as children. Lovely kids Mr Tottle, who lives near Llandeilo with his wife and children, is suffering from depression and had been signed off work for about a month. His brother said he was receiving medication when he disappeared. "My dad had been out looking, I'm out now, loads of people have been joining in the search. We want to find him," he said. Mr Tottle said they believed his brother's depression had prompted him to go missing. "He knows he has everything, his wife and two lovely kids at home. He knows that, but there's something going on in his mind." Philip Tottle is described as white, around 5'10" tall, and of medium build. He has short brown hair, a beard and blue eyes. Gwent Police confirmed they were searching for Mr Tottle and appealed for anyone with information about his disappearance to get in touch.
