An investigation has begun into an explosion at an industrial estate in Andoversford, Gloucestershire. Road cordons around the site of an explosion at a chemicals plant in Gloucestershire have now been lifted.
Smoke was still issuing from the Biolab plant on Tuesday, where chemicals used in the treatment of pool and spa water were being stored. Investigations are under way into the accident on Monday, at pool treatment specialists Biolab in Andoversford.
Local residents were still being advised to keep their windows and doors shut, a day after the blast. The blast sent a plume of toxic fumes drifting across the area and residents were warned to keep their windows and doors shut.
The A40 remains closed between the Frogmill and Tunnel Hill, but the A436 has reopened. The A40 and A436 have now reopened and people are being advised to go about their normal business with caution.
Machinery 'overheated'

The industrial estate at Andoversford remains closed and businesses at the site are not yet allowed back to their premises.
Fire crews have scaled down their operations.
