A man has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing in a block of flats in Cornwall.

Police were called to a flat in Tower Road in Newquay on Tuesday night and found the body of a 21-year-old man, whose name has not yet been released.

A 21-year-old Newquay man arrested at the scene is due to appear before East Cornwall magistrates charged with the murder.

Two 17-year-old youths who were also arrested were released without charge.

The victim's next of kin have been informed.
