Man dies following NI car crash Two killed in separate accidents

A man in his late 20s has died following a road traffic accident in County Tyrone. A teenager has been killed in a road accident in Londonderry.
His van was in collision with a land rover on the Drum Road outside Cookstown at about 0130 BST on Sunday. The accident happened on the Coshquin Road and was reported to police at about 1610 BST on Sunday. One man has been detained by police.
Police have set up an investigation. It is possible that a third vehicle was involved in the accident. The teenager's name has not been released. Meanwhile, the man who died after a car crash in County Tyrone was 29-year-old Gareth McNamee from Ardboe.
The Drum Road, where the car accident happened, has been cordoned off. Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Mr McNamee's van was in collision with a land rover on the Drum Road outside Cookstown at about 0130 BST on Sunday.
So far this year, 40 people have died on Northern Ireland's roads. A man arrested for questioning in connection with the accident has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Police believe that a third vehicle may have been involved. They are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
