A man and woman have been arrested after the body of a 16-year-old girl was found at a house in Llanelli. A man has been remanded in custody, charged with drugs offences after the body of a 16-year-old girl was found at a house in Llanelli.
Detectives are treating the teenager's death as "unexplained" after emergency services were called to an address in Pwll at 0843 BST on Thursday. Andrew Taylor, 31, who lives locally, was charged with six offences connected with the supply of controlled drugs when he appeared before magistrates.
Police said a man, aged 31, and a woman, aged 28, both local to the area, had been arrested. He was also charged with assaulting a police officer.
A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said the girl was not being named until her next of kin were informed. Police were called to an address in Pwll at 0843 BST on Thursday and had treated the death as "unexplained".
She added that the coroner for Carmarthenshire was being kept informed. Dyfed-Powys Police have still not named the dead girl.
