'Stunning girl'
Tributes have been paid to the "brilliant and beautiful" schoolgirl.
Kamilah's head teacher at St Thomas Aquinas High School, Ed Wylie, said she was a "wonderful girl and model pupil".
"She was very bright, very studious and very caring"
The youngster, described by neighbours as a "stunning girl", died at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
One tribute read "Rest in peace, you are a star always"
Kamilah was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary for treatment before being transferred to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Pendlebury.
She died on Tuesday morning.
Posies of flowers, teddy bears and sympathy cards rested against a hedge at the end of Wembley Road, the terrace street where Kamilah lived.

One message read: "To Kamilah, my best friend. I will always be thinking about you. You will always be in my heart". Another: "Rest in peace Kamilah. You are a star always. Safe in God's arms".
Neighbour Tanisha McKray, 28, said: "She was a brilliant, beautiful little girl. Everyone is just in shock and total disbelief."
She added: "She was a beautiful girl, both inside and out and she was stunning to look at. They were a really close family. She had a real heart of gold. She will be terribly missed."
