A 43-year-old man is due to appear in court on a murder charge. A 43-year-old man charged with murdering his brother has appeared at Downpatrick Magistrates Court.
It is understood the charge relates to the death of William McMullan, 58, in the Belvoir area on Friday. Paul McMillan, of Grays Park, Belfast, was charged with the murder of William McMillan, 58, last Friday at a flat in the Belvoir estate in the city.
Mr McMullan died in Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital after being stabbed in the back and chest at a house in Grays Park Drive. A police officer told the court he believed he could connect the accused with the charge.
The accused is due to appear at Downpatrick Magistrates court on Thursday morning. He was remanded to appear by video link at Castlereagh Magistrates Court on 25 May.
