Three arrested over Radcliffe hit-and-run crash

Three men are being questioned over a hit-and-run crash in which a man was critically injured.

The 24-year-old was struck by a Seat Altea on Dumers Lane near the junction with Morris Street, in Radcliffe, Bury, on Sunday evening.

The car failed to stop at the scene and was later found abandoned on Hampson Hill Road in Bury.

Police said three men have been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a collision.

Greater Manchester Police said the 24-year-old man was taken to hospital and remains in a critical condition.
