One driver has died and several people have been injured in a crash involving two cars and a bus in Manchester. A driver died and three other people were badly injured in a crash involving several cars and a bus in Manchester.
Emergency services are at the scene of the accident, which happened at Chester Road, Stretford, at about 1100 BST. Emergency services were called to Chester Road, Stretford, at 1100 BST.
Police said the driver of one of the cars died at the scene and several bus passengers are injured. A Ford Focus was in collision with a Stagecoach bus. The car flipped over colliding with several other vehicles, before being left on its roof.
One car was left on its roof and an eyewitness said the vehicle was in two parts, following the collision near to the Gorse Hill pub. The Focus driver died at the scene. The bus driver, the driver of a second car and another person suffered serious injuries, police said.

A Greater Manchester Police spokeswoman said: "Emergency services are currently at the scene. An eyewitness said the Focus was in two parts, following the collision near the Gorse Hill pub.
"At this early stage it is believed that two cars have been in collision with a bus. One car ended up on its roof. Some of the wreckage appeared to have been flung about 90ft (27m) from the impact, a taxi driver who was at the scene said.
"The driver of one car died at the scene and several bus passengers are being treated for less serious injuries." A Greater Manchester Police spokeswoman said: "At this stage it is believed that a Ford Focus travelling towards Stretford was in collision with a Stagecoach bus (256 Service).
Chester Road has been closed between Talbot Road and Great Stone Road. "The Focus flipped and ended up on its roof, colliding with several other cars, including a Peugeot."
