Man arrested after armed robbery

A man has been arrested following an armed robbery at an off-licence in south Belfast.

It happened about 1900 BST on Saturday when a man entered the premises on India Street and selected a number of items before going to the till.

He then produced a handgun and forced a member of staff to hand over cash before making off.

A man was arrested a short time later. A handgun, money and other items were recovered during a follow-up search.
