Man rescued after car cliff fall

A man was taken to hospital after a car went over the side of a cliff and fell onto the rocks below at Bracelet Bay in Gower.

The incident happened at 2319 BST on Friday near Mumbles Road.

The man was cut free by fire crews after a joint rescue operation by the emergency services. His condition is not known.

In Swansea, a man was seriously injured when his car crashed into a telegraph pole in the early hours of Saturday.

The collision happened at Caemawr Road near its junction with Tan y Lan Terrace in Morriston, at 0330 BST.

The driver of the white Toyota Starlet - said to be a local man - was taken to Morriston Hospital.
