Six men have been arrested in a raid by the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command. Six men have been arrested in raids by anti-terrorism officers from the Metropolitan Police.

BBC home affairs correspondent Daniel Sandford said it was understood that the arrests are in relation to allegations of incitement. Five arrests took place in London and the sixth in Luton, Bedfordshire.

'Complex inquiry'
BBC home affairs correspondent Daniel Sandford said it is believed the arrests are connected to an incident at a mosque in 2004.
The men were taken to an unnamed police station in central London.
Scotland Yard added that a searches were continuing in connection with the raids.
A spokesman said: "The arrests form part of a long-term pro-active and complex investigation into alleged incitement and radicalisation for the purposes of terrorism, as well as alleged provision of financial support for international terrorism."
