A teenager, who was in a critical condition after being shot in the chest outside a McDonald's in south London, is now stable, police have said. | |
The gunman opened fire on him and his friend, who was shot in the arm and is also stable, outside the restaurant in Brixton Road, Brixton, on Thursday. | |
Police said the suspect, described as black and about 6ft 1in tall, fled the scene on foot. | |
It is still not clear whether the boys were queuing outside the restaurant. | |
"Officers have reviewed the CCTV footage and confirmed that the two victims had been popping in and out of the restaurant," a McDonald's spokeswoman, Amanda Pierce said. | |
