Boy, 13, in court for stab murder

The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is the sixth teenager to be charged over the fatal stabbing in Leytonstone, east London. He will appear at Waltham Forest Youth Court on Friday. The teenager is also charged with the attempted murder of Paul's 15-year-old friend, who was also stabbed in the attack on 6 April. On Thursday, Theo Diah, 18, appeared at Waltham Forest Magistrates Court charged with Paul's murder. He and four other teenagers, aged 13, 14, 15 and 17, have been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 24 April. Detectives have also arrested a 19-year-old man and three boys, one aged 14 and two aged 15, who have been bailed until June while further inquiries are carried out. |
